For twenty years, our family has run this licensed and registered Mexican grocery store and carniceria to give our neighbors in Shannon the same ingredients and flavors we grew up with. Tienda y Carniceria Mexicana la Fortuna started as a passion for good food and has grown into a place where you can find everything a home cook needs to make a real Mexican meal, from the first ingredient to the last.

Walk into our Shannon, NC location, and you will see Mexican fresh produce that we source locally and seasonally, chosen because it is what our own recipes call for. Behind the counter, our Mexican meat is cut the way it should be for tacos, guisados, and family gatherings, and our Mexican seafood gives you what you need for ceviches, caldos, and fried fish on the weekend.
